Start with the borewell
Record the bore depth, operating water level, delivery height, pipe size, and available electrical supply before selecting a set. These details decide whether lift or water volume is the main requirement.
Choose the hydraulic family
Mixflow sets suit general irrigation where higher volume at moderate head is needed. K-Type sets provide higher head per stage for deeper bores. NENO sets use a shorter stack for high discharge in shallower bores.
Check water conditions
Corrosive or saline water can favour stainless steel construction. Sandy or silty water increases impeller wear, so the wet-end material and service access matter.
Confirm before ordering
Share the bore and duty details with the manufacturer or dealer. Do not select from HP alone; HP and stages must be considered together.
